Michael Tapley (Melvin P. Thorpe) with Ensemble Theatre Under The Stars"The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" is renowned - notorious, if you will - for its raunchy and raucous aspects. Yet it's the show's plaintive side, a more substantial component than is commonly acknowledged, that is its saving grace.
