Postcard printing has been around since the 1800s where people painted rectangular sheets of cardboard paper and sent them around through mail. They became more popular as time passed when folks sent them without the need for envelopes. They are viewed as "naked letters" with the classic layout of a photo, a short message, and a stamp.
